We are building up Volvo Cars online sales capabilities and driving the shift towards direct consumer sales. Our aim is clear – to provide customers with modern, flexible, and hassle-free ways to own a car, whether through a Care by Volvo subscription, lease, loan, or cash. By that, shaping the future of the automotive industry.

 

Let us describe the challenge we offer
In the position of an E-commerce Growth Manager, you will work with several website teams with the mindset of helping the website project managers to become conversion heroes. We want you who strongly believe in the power of using data as the driver for change. Conversion Optimization is in your DNA.

 

We are looking for the best CRO experts to help Volvo move forward in the digital environment, which includes setting up and building processes, leading, and facilitating workshops, coaching individuals and/or teams, and managing stakeholders. This role is often situated "in the middle", leaving you as the natural link between experts and management.

What you will do
You will manage and plan experiment programs and processes, facilitate workshops and deliver educational efforts. You will be our growth manager, conversion specialist, data-driven PO, or equivalent.

 

You will handle stakeholders and explain complex matters. In close collaboration with specialists, you will make sure the research translates to business value. Typical deliverables could be:

  • Optimize the volvocars.com site for e-commerce
  • Coordinate and lead a variety of cross-site optimization projects (for example, introducing website personalization or other large digital projects)
  • Run educations of best practice of website optimization for increased online sales
  • Deliver hypotheses to A/B test in the website experimentation process
  • Project lead new website pages and modules
  • Process workshops about how to optimize the website

 

Competence and skills are important, but personality is key
You are a people person who is flexible, adaptive and likes to work iteratively. At the same time, you are comfortable in taking your initiatives and driving things forward and can quickly understand an organization and its needs. Making sure to execute the right tasks at the right time to reach digital growth.

 

You have decision-making skills and like to have a clear view of where you want to go and why. You connect the dots and understand the bigger picture even though you might not handle all the details yourself. You are very communicative and able to see other people's perspectives. You have an interest in driving business impact through experimentation. You can be described as strong but humble. You are patient and have an analytical mindset, yet your curiosity is what drives you towards expanding your horizons. You want to evolve your experience in leading site optimization for increased online sales and you know all the “best practices” about increasing digital sale practices optimization of the site.

 

Qualifications

 To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:

  • Several years’ experience of successful optimization of websites for increased sales
  • Strong Project management skills
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Google Data Studio
  • Experience in SEO, CRO, UX for e-commerce (but you do not need to be a designer)
  • Education in a related field
  • Great English communication skills
