Borås is the distribution center for the Online sales to the Nordic countries. We are about 750 employees and the facility operate 24 hours a day.

As an Operations Manager you lead the operations to maximize operational excellence, quality, and efficiency. You manage and ensure an efficient planning and optimization of the flow. You manage the overall profitability based on cost effectiveness through accurate planning and budget follow up and by using cost saving initiatives. You lead the teams within operations to ensure logistical capacity needs in alignment with DC Manager, where needed. You support the operations in resolving issues and ensure close alignment with Controlling. You lead and support the Department Managers to recruit, develop and retain workforce according to capability needs and forecasted requirements. You can also participate in or lead internal projects. Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed.

To be successful in this role, we believe that you have the following qualifications/skills:

• Strong operational logistics expertise and experience to effectively manage and develop the DC operations
•  At least 3 years’ experience of leading operational departments
•  Deep understanding of end-to-end DC processes.
•  Solid knowledge in regional and global operational logistics standards, as well as sustainability targets
• Strong communication, coordination, and collaborative mindset
• Strong coaching leadership skills
• An empathetic mindset and encouraging diversity
• Flexible, an innovative approach, result-oriented, accurate, analytical, and proactive
• University or business school background within logistics, process engineering or similar
• Experience in automated industry processes is a requirement and daily work within LEAN or similar is a big advantage
• Good knowledge and experience in HSE
• Data processing, knowledge of SAP and MS Office is an advantage
• Good understanding in Financial management and budget
• Experience within cooperation and negation with the Union
• Fluent in Swedish and English, written and verbal communication

This is a full-time position starting with a probationary period of 6 months. The location is based in Borås and is part of the Logistic Region North Europe. As an Operations Manager, you are a part of the local Management Team, and you report directly to the DC Manager. Start date during autumn 2021.
