In this role as our EMEA Used Car Operations Manager you will be responsible for driving the used car operations agenda within the region and its markets. You will secure operational implementation of the used cars policy and support the market Used Car Managers in the daily operation. You will be a key member of the EMEA used car team and have continuous interaction with other EMEA functions. You will join a highly interesting area with a large business scope – an area that secures profitable and efficient sales channel development and drives modern Volvo premium customer experience with our retailer partners. You will report to the Director of Retail Used Car business. 
 
What you’ll do?
Your main responsibilities will include:
•    Secure and drive implementation of the EMEA used car policy in the region and its markets
•    Support national sales companies (NSC) in their used car business operation driving NSC and retailer profitability and professionalism in all areas of the business
•    Work together with NSC:s in establishing a market-specific used car business and development plan targeting improvement in key areas of the business
•    Lead markets in creating a long-term plan towards our 2025 used car ambition
•    Develop a follow-up and action plan scheme for non-performing markets. Organize market deep dives for risk markets
•    Develop retailer quality and performance through working closely with the market used car managers and the local retailer development team
•    Build a good and close working relationship with the used car managers and actively share best practices across the region

Do you fit the profile?
You have experience working on a corporate level in the automotive industry. You bring advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint to master your daily workload in an efficient way. You are eager to contribute to our future success showing flexibility in your way of handling multiple tasks at the same time.

You also have:
•    Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Economics, Marketing or any other related   field
•    Fluent communications skills in English, written and oral 
•    Experience in successfully handling implementations of new concepts    
•    Ability to coach and coordinate multi-cultural and cross-national teams

It is beneficial if you also have:
•    Experience and/or interest in online business 
•    Field force experience at OEM as District manager Sales or Aftersales 
•    Previous experience in used car business management
 
In this role as our Used Car Operations Manager you will be traveling on regular basis within EMEA, including overnight stays of sometimes several days if needed.

Location: 
EMEA operates from Volvo Cars headquarter in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is therefore the preferred location for the ideal candidate. Alternative locations in Sweden and Europe can be discussed.
