At our department of Autonomous Drive and Active Safety Functions we design, integrate and verify the complete vehicle solution for autonomous cars and active safety functions.

 

As a principal engineer you will set and drive the way forward. Within the team you will contribute to the team purpose, to take the lead in safe, customer valued and purposeful functions. The responsibility, communal with the team, is to develop and launch features that support the driver but also for a robust and safe, human-centric, self-driving functionality.

 

What you´ll do?

We are now looking for a technical leader with 8+ years experience that will develop and drive realization of our low speed assist roadmap. You will shape technical direction for a number of programs from current state of the art customer feature launches to reasearch programs.

 

Do you fit the profile? 

We believe that you have: 

  • Proven knowledge in ADAS functions from previous work
  • Experience from advanced function- and system designs, systemization, modelling and rapid prototyping of AD / ADAS functions  
  • Experience from research in AD / ADAS by leading research teams and by own contribution
  • Experience from working and leading technical concept designs, realizations, and implementation for ADAS and/or AD systems involving SW, sensors and ECUs 
  • Experience of safety critical functions and a knowhow in how to apply the standards ISO26262 and SOTIF 
  • PhD degree in Systems, control and mechatronics, Data Science, Computer engineering, Engineering Physics or a M.Sc degree complemented with work and research experience to an equivalent level.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
