Bosch Thermoteknik AB develops, manufactures and sells a complete range of heat pumps. Our main focus lies in the development of energy-efficient products with particular focus on renewable energy. We are about 500 employees in Tranås. Our most famous brands are Bosch and IVT.

Develop mechanical construction concepts for heat pump components and assemblies included in the heat pumps refrigeration module:

• Propose and drive mechanical solutions in accordance with function, cost, quality, lifetime and users requirements.
• Produce solid models of parts (3D) and ensure product assemblies.
• Generate engineering drawings (2D) for product components, create mark-ups for new revisions.
• Specify materials and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing taking into account manufacturing processes.
• Derive product Bill of Material (BOM), and drive introduction of components and assemblies
• Coordinate development samples ordering and assembly.
• Participate in product design reviews and FMEA.

Education:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (MsC preferred).

Technical skills:

• Experience in the design of metallic parts in industrial environment, preferably using CAD 3D Unigraphics (NX).
• Knowledge in the design of refrigeration and hydraulic components and systems is valued.
• Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project).
• Experience with Teamcenter is a plus.
