About Kisi Kisi is a security platform with offices in Brooklyn and Stockholm and a global remote team spanning from America, Europe, Africa and Asia. We create hardware and software that helps businesses connect and control their spaces through the cloud. About the Role As a technical writer at Kisi, you’ll be responsible for the external and internal documentation of our products, including API documentation. You’ll work closely with the tech and product teams and learn the ins and outs of the digital access control industry. To be successful in the role, you need to be a talented communicator, have a curious mindset and a strong interest in new technology. Responsibilities: * Writing and editing technical and non-technical product documentation for tech and non-tech audiences * Collaborating with our internal teams of developers and engineers to learn and demonstrate an understanding of product functions and limitations * Adapting content to suit different audiences and channels * Improving and updating existing technical documentation Requirements: * This position can be for someone technically curious or a seasoned writer * Excellent written skills in English * Experience from IT support and/or writing technical documents a plus * Excited about our product and to learn more about the tech and security industry * Interest in cloud-based technology solutions * Know how to break down complex topics into easily understandable information Why Kisi? * Real impact: your contributions matter, and your impact will reach customers within a few weeks of onboarding.
