At Worthmore, our mission is to change what we do with the nearly 150 million smartphones that get replaced each year by making it simple and easy to convert them into money for causes we all care about. What do we need? We are looking for a person that wants to help us with something we are admittedly terrible at, bookkeeping, and accounting. Your main tasks will include... * Ensuring every transaction made finds its proper documentation * Submitting and creating things like our Annual reports * Ensuring we are compliant and paying people taxes etc the correct way * Creating budgets and reports for investors You are a good fit if you... * ...have a passion for spreadsheets, data, and finance * ...have a basic understanding of financial requirements from companies * ...desire to learn how to keep an early startup on track financially * ...have used your skills to create reports of finances before * ...have previous startup finance experience WHAT CAN WE GIVE TO YOU? Ideally, we are looking for someone who can dedicate an upfront block of time to fix what already has happened, then a few hours a week to ensure that everything is well maintained in the future.
