Who we are
Customer Care provides Consumer Relations Operations for Volvo Cars and affiliated brands through contact centers. Our agents are the facilitating link between the brand, the consumer and the dealer network, acting as brand ambassadors and companions through the consumer journey.  
Besides running operations, Customer Care designs how and what our Consumer Care Centers operate for each partner in selected markets. We secure capabilities needed and develop processes and products to release a premium and branded customer support for our partners, mainly Volvo Cars and Polestar. We develop needed trainings and make sure our agents get the right competence to be able to perform a good job.

 

About the position
To cater for the future and deliver on today’s demands on a premium customer service operation, we need a business-oriented Talent Development Leader with focus to manage and develop the talent development area and keep the learning eco-system together.

You will be part of an international team and work closely with our Customer Care operational teams, our Partners and our competence development colleagues within Volvo Car Group to drive learning development agenda for the future.

What you will do

As the Talent Development Leader you are the ones that orchestra the talent development area and will lead this area into the future. You are responsible to further develop the talent development area together with the central team and our local Customer Care teams and to secure a strong learning eco-system.

You will work close together with our talent development colleagues in our Customer Care Centers (CCC’s) and coordinate between different stakeholders within and outside Customer Care to secure alignment in the operative processes. 

  • You will lead and coach an international high performing team.
  • You are responsible to develop a robust structure, an efficient operational model and way of working.
  • Together with the team you will identify, organize and manage the training portfolio in support of business units across Volvo Cars and to secure the quality in the deliveries.
  • You will continuously interact and communicate with everyone involved in the processes securing that we have a business and quality-oriented approach to our way of working, based on a set governance model and strategic approach within the field of Learning & Development.
  • You will also drive quality and assurance activities across our Customer Care Centers

 

You and your skills

  • You have a documented experience along with successful achievements within Competence development in an international organization.
  • You have knowledge of curriculum development and of leading the Talent Development activities. On top of that you also have knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design and new technology to assist in current learnings.
  • You have knowledge of different quality assurance methods and have proven actions from development of a learning function.
  • You should be able to work effectively in a cross functional capacity ensuring strong collaboration between departments and organization.
  • You have strong presentation and communication skills with great structure and process driven mentality.
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written
