Job Description

As a part of the DC Design team you will provide deep warehouse design and MHE engineering expertise to best tailor our warehouse capabilities to future business needs, as well as cost and service requirements for all H&M connected brands and channels.

 Your key responsibilities

As a DC Design Engineer, you are an important part of all DC/warehouse implementation initiatives, contributing to all phases of an initiative. Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Define global operating standards across DCs/warehouses and create frameworks for standard approaches to design and implementations
  • Design, evaluate, and recommend DC/warehouse operational concepts
  • Create detailed design and technical specifics in collaboration with external or internal partners
  • Lead and/or participate in engineering streams for implementation projects
  • Participate in execution of User Acceptance Test, flow simulation, etc.

In addition to matching the personal profile we also seek the following qualifications.

  • Experience from DC/warehouse design and engineering for creating functional processes and specifications
  • Understands DC/warehouse engineering standards and processes as well as excellent functional IT requirements knowledge
  • Good understanding of both operational as-is and target processes
  • Good communication and coordinating skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Background in creating and establish frameworks and templates for global operating standards
  • Background in creating detailed DC/warehouse design and technical specifications
  • Knowledge in MHE standard solutions as well as future trends and innovations.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position based in Stockholm or Borås. You will be part of the Logistics Implementation team within Global Logistics.
