Business Controller to SF Studios! i Stockholm

Job Description

We are looking for a business-oriented Business Controller to mainly work with SF Studios’ International Acquisition & Licensing and company cost controlling.

Main areas of responsibility
SF Studios' overall business scope includes four business areas – Production, Distribution, Acquisition & Licensing and SF Anytime. Your role will mainly focus on international Acquisition & Licensing and company cost controlling in all countries and include the following:

Business controlling and analyses

• Financial support to business operations
• Analyze monthly result, prepare reports, action plans and initiate follow-ups
• Gather info and update monthly Latest Estimates
• Support and drive Budget and Forecast processes from a Finance perspective
• Prepare presentations for Business review meetings
• Various Ad Hoc projects and tasks

Business operations

• Cost controlling of direct costs, overhead costs and suggest potential cost efficiency initiatives.
• Play an active part and proactively evaluate potential business opportunities and initiatives.
• Overall responsible for preparation of budgets, forecasts and analyzing monthly financial results.
• Participate and gather information for various business projects.

Investment decisions and governance

• Support the CFO, Head of Business controlling, business area managers and Nordic and Executive management teams with business controlling tasks, such as analyses, and business cases.
• Prepare and analyze investment board decisions, follow up results, feedback to business and remodel assumptions based on data-driven information.
• Prepare formal presentations of budget, and forecasts to Head of Business controlling or other managers within SF studios.
• Maintain high quality of data and work closely with other teams to continuously improve data quality, reporting and analysis.

Business processes and transformation projects

• Initiate process adjustments or projects that will improve the quality of financial statements and reporting.
• Process development to increase transparency within business control.

As a Business Controller, you will be part of SF Studios’ Nordic finance team with Finance colleagues in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo and Helsinki and also in London. You will be part of the Business Controlling team and report to SF Studios’ Head of Business Controlling.

Personal qualifications
To succeed in the role of Business controller we believe you will have the following qualifications:

• A university degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• 3-5 years of working experience in a Business Controlling role
• Structured and analytical competence to get the “big picture” but still attentive to key details
• Strong driving force and a problem-solving attitude to run transformation
• Excellent analytical problem solving and financial modelling skills and easily communicate your viewpoint with others
• Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language
