Changes in consumer behaviours and views on car ownership are pushing the online experience to the heart of Volvo Cars’ commercial transformation. By establishing direct relationships with consumers all over the world, we intend to become the industry leader in online sales of electric cars. We are undergoing a radical transformation in the way we design, build, and improve our digital products and offers. To set ourselves up for success and hyper growth we are bringing business, product, tech and user experience together in empowered, cross-functional teams. For more people to join us, we are in December opening a larger office space to be inaugurated in Mood Stockholm. We are now looking for a People Experience Business Partner to our tech hub.

What you will do:
As you will be joining a growing organization that is constantly looking for talents with highly critical skills; talent acquisition, brand awareness and onboarding will be high on your agenda. As will working with the full talent journey and driving inclusion and belonging. Collaboration between teams and functions will also be an important area for you to focus on. 

You will guide and train new managers to embody the leadership of Volvo Cars and to represent our people processes and solutions. Your input on how our operational model can be improved to meet the needs of the tech hub and an organization in hyper growth will be valued by our central teams. You will collaborate with a network of PX Business partners in different parts of the world, as well as our central teams like Labour affairs, Digital, Volvo Car Academy and Workplace Experience to give a few examples. You will be reporting to the Head of People Experience, Online Product and Engineering, and you will partner with all the teams and functions in the tech hub.

You and your skills:
We believe you have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar background, together with a few years of relevant experience as an HR Generalist. You have basic knowledge of labour laws, and a good overview of progressive HR practices and processes relevant for a growing, digitally driven, global organisation. Our business language is English, and you will be based at the tech hub in Stockholm.

You have a can-do attitude with a strong sense of urgency and delivery. You are recognized as a trusted advisor with high integrity, and you enjoy building relationships across the entire organization. You can work independently in a structured way and since we are an organization in constant change, the role will require a lot of flexibility, pragmatism, and a strong ability to set the right priorities.
