About us

On Infotainment, our engaged and agile development teams work with the Android platform, Android Automotive Apps, Audio, Connectivity, Driver Information, Entertainment, Personalization and Vehicle Functions (e.g. climate control). We apply the latest software development practices, and the development teams are supported with Continuous Integration (CI) frameworks and collaboration tools. We have a tight collaboration with Google and other partners.

There are CI teams responsible for building the “CI product”, which enables a continuous stream of high quality Infotainment software. The delivery is the software for IHU (SPA1) and DHU (SPA2). The three teams have the focus on code flow, infrastructure and test framework.

About the role

As the Product Owner (PO) for three CI teams, you will be in close dialogue with our developer community, to understand the customer need and with your own teams to understand our limitations and posibilities. You will engage with other stakeholders across Volvo Cars and align our local CI strategies with the different initiatives within the company. You build, prioritize and refine your backlog based on data and input. You own your backlog and make sure that the way forward is clear for all involved parties. This includes both short term and long term.

Together with the Team Manager and the Scrum Master, you cater for the needs of the teams.

The Code Flow team handles partner integration, build pipelines, branch management etc. The Integration team handles our Azure Cloud, Visualization, databases, emulator, Jenkins infrastructure etc. The Test Framework team handles our HW-lab, test frameworks and our test code.

About you

You have a solid background within software development and a good understanding of continuous integration. You are skilled at working with multiple stakeholders and your excellent communication and analytical skills ensures that you can convey the right messages with clarity. Your mindset is strategic and business minded – customer first.

You have a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related technical field. (equivalent practical experience)

Meritorious is experience of being Product Owner, cross-functional collaboration, large-scale system design, continuous integration and hands-on software development. Familiarity with SAFe and Jira is beneficial for the position.
