Your contribution to something big

• Identification of tonal noise generation mechanisms of a centrifugal fan in an exhaust/air source water heat pump
• Evaluation of acoustic propagation characteristics – What analysis approach to employ?
• Identification of potential passive solutions to attenuate propagation & transmission external to heat pump
• Design of identified solutions
• Design verification by numerical methods, preferably Ansys Mechanical/Fluent
• Laboratory test for experimental validation and modeling verification

What distinguishes you

• Knowledge and experience in modelling and simulation in Ansys Mechanical / Fluent
• Problem solving and research mindset
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred/beneficial skills

• Master in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge in NVH/Acoustics, Turbomachinery & CFD
• Knowledge in thermodynamics
