The Role:
    • We are currently seeking a French-speaking, motivated, self-starter, to accelerate new business opportunities with Mid-Market sized Merchants. The goal for this individual is to identify, pursue, and successfully close new opportunities with some of the most strategic merchants. In successfully winning these markets, we will be able to position Klarna as everyone’s favorite way to shop. In order to succeed in this position, you need to be highly driven, competitive, self-motivated, have a passion for learning about and engaging with new cultures, and have a desire to build a business from the ground up.
You are:
    • You have a strong understanding of eCommerce and the desire to truly make a difference for the companies to which you sell.
    • You have the ability to translate complex scenarios into simple solutions.
    • You can sell and you love to do it. You know it’s a lot of work and hard-earned success, but you never make excuses for not delivering results.
    • You love the challenge and being responsible for your own success! Your resume will demonstrate a strong track record of performance.

Responsibilities:
    • Building and executing jointly agreed on business plans with partners or merchants to drive mutual growth and success. 
    • Working closely with internal product and marketing teams at Klarna to drive enablement and lead generation activities. 
    • Managing the full customer journey and life-cycle from prospecting to winning new business. 
    • Challenging our merchants to deliver a smooother consumer experience Identifying new partnerships or business opportunities, pitching Klarna’s services, and negotiating agreements. 
    • Selling into and building great relationships both on an executive, C-suite level, as well as on an individual level.
    • Playing an important role in taking Klarna to the next level!
You Should Have:
    • Fluency in French is required. Speaking Italian/Spanish is also a huge plus.
    • 1-2 years of experience selling to retail accounts. 
    • Hunter mentality, and a genuine love of selling 1-2 years of experience working in e-commerce or payments. 
    • Experience in Sales, Account Executive, and/or Business Development roles.
    • Excellent results in B2B sales. 
    • Experience from a high-growth tech company is highly preferred
