Job Description

Are you a finance or tax professional highly motivated to develop within taxation and finance, also being able to contribute from a role in a global organization that makes difference in society and everyday lives? For our Group Functions at Lantmännen, we are now looking for a driven and collaborative Tax Controller to work with us where we have business in mind and people at heart.

This is what you will do
As Tax Controller, you will be part of Group Tax at Lantmännen, a key function where you will be taking responsibility to maintain and develop robust processes related to tax compliance, tax accounting and tax reporting on a group level. Among other things, you will support the budget and forecasting processes concerning tax and be responsible for external tax reporting and analysis in tertial-end closings and annual reporting. Collaborating closely with Lantmännen Transfer pricing specialist, you will be responsible for providing support in various matters related to transfer pricing such as management and license fees’ calculations and pricing of financial transactions. You will also be a key player in the Group’s current implementation project of OECD/EU Tax Pillar 2.

Being part of Group Tax, you belong to a team consisting of five people covering different areas of taxation including corporate income tax, transfer pricing, VAT, excise and customs duties. You will continuously collaborate with the other members of the tax team, but you will also be working together with colleagues from group accounting, shared services and our finance departments in our divisions and subsidiaries which are found in Sweden but also in over 20 other countries where Lantmännen has its operations. Working closely with key stakeholders, advising on relevant tax matters and ensuring quality and compliance, you will get unique insights in plenty of our businesses throughout the entire value chain from agriculture, machinery, bioenergy, food and real estate.

The position is located at our head office in Stockholm, and you will report to the Director Group Tax.

Skills & Requirements

This is what you need to succeed

You have:

  • At least five years of relevant work experience from either working in a similar role with the focus on tax accounting and Swedish taxation or prior experience from working at a consultancy or audit firm with a specialization on tax.
  • A relevant academic degree in business or law, preferably with specialisation within tax.
  • Strong skills in Excel and good communication skills, written and spoken, in both Swedish and English.
  • Preferably experience from working in an international group where you have been working towards multiple stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Preferably experience from working with tax technology, Power BI and from using data-driven approaches in problem-solving.
