We are now looking for an experienced microwave product marketer to work with product marketing globally, within the Product Marketing team of Digital Transport products in Ericsson, consisting of backhaul solutions based on microwave technology, IP routers and fiber-based fronthaul solutions.

Job Summary
Working with product marketing, you will create value argumentation, associated proof points and competitive positioning messages for the digital transport parts of the Ericsson Radio System, specifically Backhaul products in Ericsson’s Microwave portfolio.

External primary target groups are existing or potential customers’ Radio and/or Transport organizations looking to procure a microwave-based transport solution. Your job will be to make Ericsson’s Microwave portfolio stand out in the eyes of the target group and help Ericsson sales organization to argue for ‘why Ericsson’. The role is based in Ericsson’s office in Gothenburg and will interface stakeholders across the globe.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Marketing of products: starting point: the product, software and/or hardware
  • Support the development of strategic marketing plan and execute analysis to define business/growth opportunities
  • Create Ericsson competitive positioning messages for selected products
  • Create value argumentation and supporting proof points (incl. business case)
  • Support the alignment with Solution Marketing for selected products which form part of a solution
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert and to some extent as a spokesperson to selected customers
  • Develop commercial presentation (Value Packages, Products etc)
  • Identify and develop customer success stories and reference cases
  • Support handling of demos in collaboration with Solutions Marketing
  • Support alignment with related Industry Marketing Plan for the addressed business segment, including industry overall pain points & opportunities
  • Write Search Engine Optimization optimized content for own solutions on .com

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, Communications or equivalent training/experience
  • 3+ years’ experience
  • Experience working in a global team
  • Domain knowledge (Transport/Microwave)

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Resource management (including budget management)
  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast moving environment
  • Understanding of digital marketing
