The Global Label Department (GLD) is responsible for the development and production of product related graphic material such as textile labels, hang tags and consumer packaging. GLD provides the production organization within H&M with artworks for all graphic items attached to our consumer products. We cooperate with many different parts of the H&M organization and we work on behalf of all brands within the H&M Group. Our team consists of 16 ambitious and driven team-members and we are now looking for a new colleague to take over the responsibility for translations.

Translations are one of the key building blocks of the product labelling and at GLD, this is all handled by one person. This person is also the owner of the internal IT system which is the main tool for all stake holders using the translations. To succeed in this role you like working both independently as well as in a team, you enjoy problem solving and have an analytical mind-set and strong follow up skills.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Categorize and administrate translations in our internal system.
• Be the point of contact with the external Translation Supplier and make sure relevant requirements are set for that cooperation.
• Act as a system owner towards H&M’s IT department.

We are looking for you who:

• Have 2-3 years of experience within a similar position .
• Have experience and/or knowledge of the translation process and to classify, sort and organize data.
• Have experience of negotiating project deliverables, prices and lead times.
• Have good written and verbal communication skills in English. Swedish or another language proficiency is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Excel.

This is a temporary contract for 18 months. It is a full time position, starting Oct 1st located at our Head Office in Stockholm.
