The department for Mobility, Product and Sales is responsible for the Mining Internet Business Platform, which is a commercial web platform for Content, E-Commerce and other services, and we are part of the overall ambition to deliver the next generation of business systems supporting the business objectives for Sandvik Mining Rock Technology (SMRT). To Sandviken or Stockholm, we are now looking for a Solution Architect to provide value to our organization by focusing on designing fit-for-purpose solutions with architectural integrity that are aligned with the architectural guidance and constraints in the IT Landscape.

Job Summary
As Solution Architect you are responsible for participating in target architecture development, conducting architecture reviews, proposing suitable IT solutions for IT projects and identifying candidate standards. You ensure consistency of IT solutions within the architecture domain and make sure that they adhere to the overall IT Landscape, Architecture Principles and Architecture Exceptions. Your roles includeunderstanding customer requirements and needs to effectively transform these into designs, as well as aligning the design and implementation of a solution with the architectural guidance and constraints as stated in the Sandvik Architecture Framework. The scope of responsibility can range from one separate IT system to a significant subset of the Sandvik IT solution scene.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent education. You have at least five years of experience from working with IT, and good knowledge of Sandvik IT and our processes, models and frameworks is beneficial. It is an advantage if you have a few years of experience from working with SCRUM or Kanban methods, as well as experience within TFS (Microsoft Team Foundation Server), as this is the tool that we use for scrum-related planning in our project activities. It is a plus if you have experience with SharePoint-based development and environments related to Microsoft services, such as Azure Media Services, and can handle Digabit Documoto services. As we work in an international setting, it is important that you have good English skills, both verbally and in writing.
