Product Area (PA) Rock Tools, within Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology (SMRT), is a world-leading producer of drill bits, rods and tubes for customers in the rock tools industry. The PA works to continually develop new rock drilling tools and cemented carbide grades designed to improve our customers’ operations and deliver superior, cost-effective performance.

The finance function´s mission is to support and provide expertise for business decision-making. We are now looking for a Business Controller to support both the PA line organization and key projects. Job Summary
As Business Controller, you are responsible for ensuring that the finance process and key priorities are maintained in an efficient and proactive way, and you work on continuous improvements and support the finance and management teams. The key responsibilities of your role are related to consolidating and reporting of the PA targets and results, analyzing and following-up reported results and providing clear explanations regarding results and forecasts. You manage and improve finance processes for monthly reporting, budget and forecasting, and three-year planning. You proactively support performance management and management reporting as part of being an active member of the PA Rock tools Finance management team. You are reporting directly to the Director of Finance in PA Rock tools.

Business travel is required in this position.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in finance and solid experience, five years at a very minimum, from business finance roles. You have excellent knowledge of financial reporting and data analysis tools and software, such as QlikView, SAP BPC and MS Office, particularly Excel. As we act in a global environment, experience of business control within a global environment is advantageous, and you must communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowing Swedish is not required but is advantageous.
