Our Infrastructure and Operations department provides Sandvik Group with fit-for-purpose infrastructure and operations for services that enable an efficient workplace for employers and partners. By assisting the business through customer support, building networks and server platforms, providing collaboration tools and client management and monitoring our systems and environment, we deliver both short- and long-term value to our customers.

We have identified the need for quicker and more agile ways of testing, evaluating and designing new and future technologies. To achieve this, we have set up an Innovation Lab to ensure a high degree of effectiveness and quality at low risk. We are now looking for a Lead Service Architect, who wants to take part in shaping the way industrial companies take on the era of digital transformation. The location for this position is Sandviken or Kista, Stockholm.

Job Summary

In this position, you play a significant role in strategically influencing the future of by identifying synergies within the different areas of Infrastructure and Operations, and as chair of our Architect Forum, you oversee the processes and workflows in our Innovation Lab, and work together with your dynamic and innovative team to improve these. Furthermore, you define, maintain and manage models and frameworks, including current and future states of our infrastructure and deployment mechanisms.

As the contact point for Sandvik Group, you are responsible for strategy development in collaboration with our stakeholders outside Infrastructure and Operations. In doing so, this enables us to provide substantial value creation for our customers, and strengthens our ’s service management and delivery capabilities.

Some international travel is a natural part of this role.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has previous experience working in a global matrix organization, with a broad background as an infrastructure architect or enterprise architect, and who wants to take their career to the next level. You have documented experience in Infrastructure service architecture and stakeholder management, and the ability to visualize, set up and lead overall development of our Infrastructure and Operations landscape in Sandvik’s multinational business over a three-to-five-year period.

Your previous experience also includes planning on a tactical and strategic level, and knowledge and understanding of business ethics. Previous work with setup and management of Microsoft Azure cloud environments is advantageous. For this position, we require excellent skills in Swedish, both verbal and written, and, as we work in an international environment, it is also imperative that you have excellent skills in English.
