Ericsson Packet Core is looking for an Experienced Solution Development Engineer
Are you ready for a new challenge in a company that encourages you to take your competence and skills in SW development to new levels? We are looking for an experienced software developer, who can contribute to Ericsson's market-leading virtual packet core products and solutions.

Our department is responsible for developing Ericsson Packet Core Virtual Network Services, i.e. Internet of Things, Mobile Broadband, Enterprise available for our global customers. The Virtual Network Services, or VNS are a vital part of the accelerating digital transformation building our networked society where everything that can be connected will be connected.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have several years of experience as Software developer, someone who has a SW architectural interest and can identify need for restructuring and refactoring and thus have a long-term perspective of the evolution of our scripts. You will be involved in the development of a wide range of innovative products and solutions with the latest virtual and cloud technologies.

We are looking for someone with passion and knowledge in Software development, someone that has a strong drive and understands the importance of keeping customer commitments. You work equally well individually as in a team. You have high energy levels, are willing to learn new tasks and are a team player who enjoys sharing your knowledge and skills with your colleagues.

You will work in an agile way, where you will be a member of a cross functional team. You will be working with implementation of virtual network functions on multiple cloud based deployments, primarily using Python. You and your team will be responsible for make the Virtual Network Services ready for the market

The position is based in Göteborg, in our top modern facility at Lindholmen Science Park.

Qualifications:

You should have a Bachelor or Master of Science (e.g. Science within Electrical Engineering, Data Communication, Computer Science and Engineering, Software Engineering of Distributed Systems, Engineering Physics) or equivalent formal education.

Good English and collaboration skills are also important.

Good knowledge and experience working with Python script programming and has a SW architectural interest and can identify and manage need for restructuring and refactoring of our scripts.
