As HR Manager at Wärtsilä, you will work with operational and strategic HR issues, serving as a support for our managers, about 20´s. You are involved in creating and implementing both local and global HR activities that are in line with Wärtsilä´s vision of the future. To create commitment and motivating the managers you support on daily basis is of great importance in this role.
In this role, you will lead the HR organization in Sweden, where you work close to the MD and line managers, as well as with Wärtsilä´s global HR functions. You are responsible for general HR support and services according to Wärtsilä global HR guidelines and relevant legislation. You report directly to the Area HR Director and are a member of the North Central Europe HR team.
Your work will be much about setting goals locally in line with the global directives. Additional you will work business-oriented and close to the managers. At Wärtsilä you will work in an international environment with English as main language. The workplace is located in nice premises at Wärtsilä Lindholmen, Göteborg.
As you will have a total responsibility within HR, you must have solid experience in HR at a higher level, such as HR Manager, Senior HR Business Partner, or equivalent. We expect you to have an academic degree in HR or similar areas.
You are a business and customer focused person, with communication and coaching skills. You have a good ability in problem solving and decision making, likes to develop self and others and are action oriented.
As you will work in an international environment, we expect you to be both situational and cultural sensitive, and fluent in English.
