Ericsson in Lund is looking for new young talents who would like to work with development of Baseband SW!

Together with us you will develop cutting edge software within 4G and 5G Baseband and be part of delivering a world class Mobile Broadband. We have a feature end-to-end responsibility covering architecture, design and verification as well as supporting the customer roll out. Ongoing projects are for example Advanced Antenna Systems with beam forming, Massive IoT (Internet of Things) and LAA (Licensed Assisted Access)

What we offer you

You will be part of a Cross Functional Team with responsibility from pre-study to customer acceptance for new functionality, together with maintenance of current products. The Team systemize, design and test the software on our Digital Units and take joint responsible for all team tasks.  Involvement in the end-to-end product development means that you have an interest in understanding the baseband hardware blocks and functionalities in addition to your software skills.

Education/ Qualifications:

You have a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Wireless Communication, Applied Physics or equivalent. We also see that you have documented experience in programming using C/C++ and basic understanding of network layer protocols.

 

Furthermore you should have a strong and proven interest in some of the following areas:

  • Embedded real-time SW architecture principles, implementation and verification;
  • General signal processing;
  • LTE baseband knowledge, e.g. signal processing or 3GPP specifications;
  • Multi-core processor programming;
  • General programming skills e.g. Java, Erlang;
  • Knowledge and Skills in Lean & Agile.
