H&M Business Trainee 2018 i Stockholm

THE PROGRAM

As one of H&Ms Business Trainees you will be part of an exciting 18 month program starting in September 2018. You will get a deep insight in the H&M value chain working as a Business Controller within Global Buying Office, Production and Sales. You will experience placements in Stockholm and abroad within our global organization. From day one you will be given great responsibility as the only analyst among other specialists, such as designers, buyers, store managers and supply chain merchandisers, with the main goal of maximizing sales and profitability. You will work with the whole process from analysis and setting targets to follow-up and taking actions that will affect H&M globally. Some of your challenges may be:

·        Securing best customer offer and that each of our sales markets has the right product, in the right time at the best price

·        Securing capacity, in-prices and leadtimes with our suppliers

·        Securing the best possible shopping experience for our customers and ensuring profitable store operations

As an introduction you will work as a Sales advisor in store and attend seminars with leaders from several functions within H&M, giving you a valuable insight in our core business and preparing you for the program. During the program you will take part of internal training, work with your development and grow as a leader. Your trainee-experience will also give you the opportunity to build a broad network within several of our organizations. After the program you will start as a Business Controller at the Global Buying Office in Stockholm, ready to take on a large responsibility.

YOUR PROFILE

Do you want to be a part of our journey expanding into new markets, developing exciting new brands and creating the best customer offer? We are looking for:

• Graduates in business or engineering or young professionals with up to two years of experience after your studies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn your analysis into actions that you can implement in your team.
• Driven and result oriented personalities, with a genuine interest in retail. Experience in sales, store or e-commerce is meritorious.
• An entrepreneurial mind-set, taking own initiatives, as we are a flat organization with a straight forward, open-minded culture and short decision paths.
• Team players with leadership skills wanting to grow as leaders within H&M.
• International experience from either work or studies. Your English is fluent and other languages are meritorious. Swedish is not mandatory.

• H&M will review all complete applications. We will get back to you as soon as possible in January, after last application day. Selected candidates will be given analytical web-tests as a first step and then a telephone interview between 16-29^th of January.

• If we believe you have what it takes, you will be invited to assessment days at our Head Office in Stockholm the 7^th, 8^th, 9^th or 13^th of February. You have to be able to participate during these dates to apply for the program. Final interviews will be held in the beginning of March.
