Are you sales driven with a passion for e-commerce and ready for your next challenge within one of the biggest fashion e-commerce players? H&M is now looking for Online Merchandisers to one of our current or future markets.
 
H&M Online Sales is responsible for H&M’s e-commerce globally. We are an expanding function - over the past three years we have opened more than 30 new markets and we will continue with the opening of new markets in the years ahead. Our focus is to maximize sales, profit and brand strength. To reach our goal to become the #1 global online fashion destination we need creative, analytical and sales oriented talents with a strong interest in e-commerce.
 
Online Merchandising
The Online Merchandising function is responsible for maximizing net sales and profitability by driving the most commercial and inspiring online store through commercial planning and strategic stock management. As an Online Merchandiser you will be part of an existing or new (to-be-launched) market, for which you will be responsible for one of our concepts (i.e. Ladies, Men or Kids) and become the key player in reaching the goals set for your concept and in contributing to its continuous growth. Your closest team members will be other Merchandisers and Visual Merchandisers for your market, but you will also work in close collaboration with other teams and functions both within Online Sales and across H&M.
 
Your responsibilities
The job as an Online Merchandiser at H&M comes with lots of responsibility – and lots of fun. You will be a part of running H&M’s biggest store and therefore creating the future of H&Ms e-commerce. Your main responsibilities will be to: 
  • Drive net sales for your concept on a weekly basis by analyzing your sales figures and taking actions according to the opportunities, threats and priorities identified.
  • Set the best strategic commercial plan over the season for your concept based on your customer, sales results, commercial belief and previous learnings.
  • Strategically manage the stock levels of your concept by adjusting the buying, ensuring stock freshness and setting appropriate reduction costs throughout the season.
Managing your concept will give you the full ownership over its product management and commercial planning, and you will be required to use your analytical and commercial reasoning and to drive concrete actions daily in order to maximize the net sales and the success of your concept in the short and long terms.

Your skills
Just like everyone at H&M, we believe you are a social, communicative sales-minded and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. For our next Online Merchandiser, we are looking for someone who:
  • Has a degree in business/engineering or equivalent experience gained from working in a similar role. Additional education/courses within e-commerce is a merit.
  • Has a strong commercial awareness and sales drive – top of mind is always to sell more!
  • Has strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze sales and stock figures, identify opportunities/threats and provide concrete and easy solutions.
  • Has previous experience from working in sales and/or retail and a result driven environment.
  • Has leadership qualities with strong and clear communication skills.
  • Is fluent in English, both written and spoken.
The position is full time and located at our head office in Stockholm, Sweden.
