We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated ASIC/FPGA verification engineer. MINI-LINK is a powerful network node fulfilling the requirements of the mobile broadband evolution driven by smartphones and IoT. As part of the leading global microwave company with prestige 10Gb/s products on the market you will be in the front line in microwave mobile backhaul.

 

ASIC/FPGA verification engineer

You will be part of a high performing organization that works with agile methodology in cross functional teams. Typical responsibilities and common tasks for an ASIC/FPGA team member

·           Develop and test ASIC/FPGAs for future high-speed telecom products

·           Work closely with other teams, both at Lindholmen and other international sites

·           Integration of ASIC/FPGAs with our in-house developed PCBs, software, and mechanics

·           Drive continuous improvements

·           Perform trouble shooting and customer support

·           Verification in both simulation and in our well-equipped labs

 

Position Qualifications

Core competences for a FPGA team member

·           5+ years of relevant work experience

·           Passionate about RTL verification

·           Skilled in SystemVerilog

·           Innovative mindset and focus on delivering high quality results

·            A true team player that enjoys working in teams, that easily adapts and responds to change

      

Preferable competences

·           General protocol knowledge (e.g. AXI, OPB, Wishbone)

·           Hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog)

·           Lean and Agile understanding

·           Ethernet knowledge

·           C / C++

·           Java·        

·           Scripting skills

 

Minimum qualifications for the position

·         Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar

·         English skills, both oral and written
