Position Summary

As a Developer within Ericsson one will develop & maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions), including development activities like requirement analysis, design, integration, verification, configuration management, PLM support, product documentation. To be able to do all these things we also need a good toolset around us to support us. This is partly developed in-house and partly sourced tools (both bought tools under license and OpenSource tools). For Ericsson to transform our products to fit in the 5G domain we now also need to secure that we have the best Development Environment possible.

We now need Developers that wants to learn product development and help us create this state of the art Development Environment.

Responsibilities & Tasks

• Perform Continuous Analysis and Requirement Handling
• Develop and Test High Quality Products and Tools
• Perform Trouble Shooting
• Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes

Position Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

• BSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
• Fluent in English. Swedish is good to have but not required
• Fresher or experience of upto 3 years is preferred
• Relevant projects or experience is highly beneficial - Mention same in your cover letter

Technical Competences:

•  Programming (C/C++/Java/…)
•  Basic tools like Git/Gerrit/Linux
•  Software integration

Soft Competences:

•  Lean & Agile Knowledge and Skills
•  Working with People and in teams
•  Open Source understanding  
•  Adapting & Responding to Change
•  Strong networking skills
•  A Quality mindset and willingness to always improve

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

• Experiences from working in OpenSource projects
• Programming skills in Golang, C/C++, ...
• Experience from working with embedded devices such as Raspberry PI is valued very high.
• Experience from Container based deployments, Docker, Kubernetes etc
