The responsibilities of the role are outlined below:

• Design and establish rigorous monitoring of the automated decision making process
• Using your analytical insights, work with colleagues to identify opportunities to design a great customer experience while maintaining prudential standards
• Work cross-functionally with data and digital engineering colleagues to improve data capture
• Make innovative use of new data sources data to design tools that reduce friction in digital lending
• Present findings to senior management and build a consensus for change
• Establish rigorous change control procedures and ensure quality control
• Establish procedures and metrics to evaluate the impact of change initiatives

The role requires a smart, creative individual that loves to solve challenging problems. The person requires experience in the analytical methods used to manage automated lending processes and a single-minded focus on the customer. The person also requires the abilities to present compelling stories to senior stakeholders and working in cross-functional teams to implement an outcome.

The specific requirements of the role are outlined below:

• University degree in a technical field such as statistics / mathematics, economics, computer science or engineering
• Strong analytical skills and statistical competence
• 3+ years experience working with automated credit decisions
• 5+ years programming experience within an analytical framework (e.g. R / Python / SAS / SPSS)
• Ability to communicate ideas and analyze results effectively both verbally and in writing to a non-technical audience
• Experience in cross-functional and / or functional team leadership.
