For this position, we are looking for Developers to strengthen our Baseband Infrastructure (BBI) development. BBI provides execution environment, tools, and high level programming model for our many-core platform. This is the foundation for Ericsson fifth generation mobile systems (5G) but also part of the 4G, 3G and 2G systems. You will be part of a high performing development team and create a large contact network within both SW and HW development.

We are strengthening the Linköping office and you will contribute to the team that is responsible for software and hardware trace infrastructure. You will:

• Develop trace features supporting troubleshooters in both design, release verification and customer units
• Evolve trace mechanisms to make use of new, advanced hardware
• Improve usability aspects in command line and user guides
• Contribute to the agile team way of working

Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Design, test, deploy, maintain and refactor code 

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Excellent knowledge in general purpose programming languages such as C/C++, Java and Python
• Excellent knowledge in Linux and Windows environments
• MSc level in Computer Science or equivalent level of knowledge
• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
• 2-5 years of experience in advanced programming
• Good knowledge in DSP programming and assembler
• Basic knowledge in IP communication

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience from working in a git/gerrit based development flow
• Experience from work in a Continuous Integration based development environment using e.g. jenkins or similar.
• Experience from programming of embedded systems
• Experience working with open-source SW components and tools
