If so, come and be a part of a new established Advanced Analytics Data and Platform team and contribute to our exciting journey developing the Advanced Analytics platform!

Advanced Analytics is one of the three key focus areas for the entire H&M group. We offer you a position where you will contribute within a new established support function. To this team we are now looking for Data Engineers that can manage and further develop the Advanced Analytics platform. This is the challenge for you who wants to join team that operates like a startup inside a large organization. You will get the best of two worlds!

The team will work effectively across both H&M business and IT groups and will ensure that the platform continues to be a solution that supports the evolving use-cases from initial proof-of-concept to full production phase. All needs will be delivered in a quick and agile way across diverse teams, to support the try-fail-fast approach. The platform itself needs to evolve over time to support new use cases and adapt to the emergence of innovative technologies. The team will explore Advanced Analytics Proof-of-Concepts as well as run operationalized algorithms.



Advanced Analytics provide an important support for our operations and enable fact based decision-making along the retail value-chain. The algorithms we have started to use will contribute to improvements within everything from assortment planning and logistics to sales.

Your responsibilities
The job of a Data Engineer at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility – and lots of fun.

Your to do-list includes:

- Manage existing pipelines and create new pipelines from a variety of sources (relational, XML, etc.

- Propose and implement solutions for pipeline stabilization and data quality check

- Coordinate with teams from other data sources (SAP, SAS, PIM, etc.) to imp
rove transfer mechanisms

- Ensure best practices across Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, and Data Catalo

Your skills
Just like everyone at H&M, we believe you are a social, open, communicative sales-minded and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism

Your skills include that you:

- Have 2+ years’ data experience (in BI or Advanced Analytics environments

- Are proficient in SQL and version control (ideally Git)

- Have/want experience with languages like Python and Spark

- Are comfortable working in a production environment

- Are detail-oriented and know how to document your work

The IT-department is located in Stockholm and Borås and conducts business virtually all over the globe. The H&M group includes in addition to H&M the brands H&M Home, COS, & Other Stories, Monki, Weekday, Cheap Monday and ARKET. As an IT-department, we work with all brands.
