We are now looking for a Standardization Engineers Radio Access Network Management and Orchestration. The Product Development Unit (PDU) 4G&5G is responsible for development, release and maintenance of both 4G and 5G Networks.
The introduction of 5G will mean a paradigm shift when it comes to operation and management of the Radio Access Networks. In 5G network we introduce a new distributed architecture and lifting part of the Radio Network to a virtualized environment. To handle the increased complexity of the system we are introducing new technologies like cloud orchestration, machine learning, automation and analytics.
For Ericsson it is important to be a leading player in the industry when forming the new 5G management. The work is driven within standardization forums (e.g. 3GPP and ETSI) and Open Source initiatives (e.g. ONAP). Through this job you will gain experience in cutting-edge technology in an international environment that inspires you to lead.
Responsibilities:
Travelling will be required to participate in the standardization meetings which are held world-wide. As our unit also is responsible for product development in the area there are good opportunities to coordinate with the development projects and rotate between product development and standardization.

You are self-motivated and analytical with a high ability to understand, develop and drive technical solutions. The daily work requires high abilities to work in teams as well as independently to achieve results on time and with quality.
