  Job Summary:

As Industry 4.0 is happening at the same time as 5G is about to ramp up, Ericsson is accelerating the offering to manufacturing and process industries. We are now looking for a Smart Manufacturing Technical Specialist for our Industrial IoT offering development. You will support our technical development teams and sales teams across the globe with industrial product and solution expertise on different levels in solution development, pre-sales, design, and delivery of customer projects. As a Smart Manufacturing Technical Specialist you will add relevant industry insights and as a thought leadership to our Internet of Things Advanced Industries team

  Responsibilities:
  • You will position Ericsson as technology leader, communicate and discuss Ericsson’s technology strategy and vision with customer CTO/CIO and direct reports
  • Provide industry insights and contribute to knowledge sharing, ensure the customer vision & strategy including implications on Ericsson’s technology and solutions
  • Support with industry experience for technical development teams
  • Provide sales support expertise, conducts in-depth technical discussions with customers
  • Provide sales support for specific deals, propose solutions covering business requirements and present to Regions and Customer
  Key Qualifications:
  • Education: Master in Science in automation or mechatronics engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience from industrial automation systems
  • Good knowledge of NC/PLC systems, automation protocols and MES
  • Good understanding of production system communication requirements
  • Experience from working with digitalization of manufacturing including industrial communication protocols and Industrial IoT sensors, platforms and application
  • A passion technology digitalization, smart manufacturing and Industrial IoT
  • Strong business understanding
  • Proven teamplayer
