High Availability (“five nines” uptime) and security requirements as we are moving towards more cloud native solutions.

One way to ensure we deliver a robust software to our customers, is to test our software with invalid or random inputs (Fuzzing) while making sure that we don’t

deviate on vital performance and functionality. T-Fuzz[1][2], an automatic fuzzing framework was developed as a part of a Master Thesis. T-Fuzz provides a way

for our testers to fuzz selective inputs of various LTE protocols that go into our software.

We would like your help to investigate and improve T-Fuzz. The goal of this thesis is to apply novel techniques to T-Fuzz to make it smart.

The key parts of the work needed are:

• Propose an intelligent feedback based data generation algorithm for T-Fuzz which can be used to generate the data to achieve good code coverage.
• Improved T-Fuzz observer which would let the tester define custom rules to control T-Fuzz.

What we are looking for:

• You are a Master of Science student in computer science, computer engineering or similar departments.
• You have passion for Information Security, background in Information Security is preferred.
• You have experience with object-oriented programming.
• You have experience with low-level programming and scripting language.
• You have a strong analytical ability.
• You have great organizational skills.
• As a person you are open minded, transparent and a good team player
