In the Sweden production office, there is an opening for a strategic buyer with high ambition and drive who loves working in a global dynamic environment. The person we are looking for will be working as a strategic buyer for all Hangers purchased for all brands within the H&M group. In this role, you will take full ownership and responsibility to develop the hanger category together with two other team members.

You would join the Global Strategic Purchasing Team for non-commercial goods. This is a team of 6 fantastic employees based in Stockholm and belong to the H&M Production organization. The teams’ main responsibility is to secure the best deal for defined purchasing categories and improve results in line with our strategic goals. The categories we currently focus on are Hangers, Price Tags and Transportation Cartons. The team has many contact points within the H&M Organization and is daily handling questions within production, sales, logistics, legal, sustainability and design.

You will be responsible for:

• Setting and executing global strategies for the hanger category

• Carrying out tender processes in our production markets together with teams in the regional offices

• Carrying out the best deals including Price, Sustainability, Quality and Speed

• Supporting the sales countries in the hanger supply

• Driving exciting product developments for campaigns, guest design co-lab and other projects

• Initiating and driving sustainability areas like “Closed loop” and innovative new materials
