Sales Engineer, Product Adaptations i Sodertalje

Product Adaptations are important tools in Scania's strategy to provide customised vehicles to our customers, solutions with that very product edge that can make a deal tip over in our favor.
 
Product Adaptations is responsible for offering these unique customer solutions as S-orders and FFU. The team is acting as the interface between our distributors worldwide and the head office. Scania sees a great potential to sell more Trucks if we increase the capacity within the Product Adaptation process, and we are now expanding our team.

As our distributors are positioned all over the world, you will have frequent international contacts and the possibility to travel.
 
As a Sales Engineer your main responsibilities are:

• Together with R&D find the right technical solutions to fulfill our customers’requirements
• Support our sales teams around the world in complex tenders and S-orders.
• Participate as the Sales and Marketingrepresentative in S-order development projects
• Pricing of the offered solutions
• Actively work to evaluate and monitor S-order solutions
• Playing a key role in providing knowledge to understand our customers’ requirements and making it possible to maximize sales of current products
• Understanding new trends and requirementsin the markets and give this input to our product planners so we develop competitive products for the future

Your profile and experiences
You have an interest in our products and how they come to life in the hands of our customers. You are flexible and able to handle several questions at the same time. As you will work closely with both our sales teams and our R&D departments, you need good communication skills.
 
You are motivated by finding the best solution for the customer, and improving the processes. Commercial/technical background and a relevant university degree or similar experience is required as well as a good level of English.
