System Analyst for Production Logistics IT i Sodertalje

Scania IT is currently undergoing a very exciting change towards an increasingly operational- and flow-oriented approach in which Agile methods and fixed high-performance development teams are key components. Now is the perfect time to join this exciting journey.

The Order to Delivery (O2D) department within Scania IT is responsible for developing and managing IT support systems within Scania’s entire flow from customer order to logistics, production, delivery and invoicing, as well as industrial maintenance. We are now looking for a person with a significant interest of Logistics and Agile methods to join the team Production Logistics IT, responsible for the Scania built product MONA, that is supporting Scania’s Production and Logistics (P&L) ERP processes.

Your role
In your role as system analyst you will work on both implementation projects as well as management and continued development. You will manage continued development, your main responsibility will be to work on improvements and changes, focusing on the application’s database. You will also be involved in ongoing requirement management and propose solutions in the Systems. As System analyst you will be one of the group members with the greatest knowledge of data-related aspects of the process flows in the application.
 
In terms of projects, you will be responsible for coordinating elements of the IT delivery, as well as specifying and carrying out data conversions.
 
You will actively participate in and pursue improvement work for the group’s processes.
 
Your profile
We think you have a university degree in IT or equivalent experience, supplemented with working experience from IT for industrial production and Logistics, primary ERP and even ISA95. Experience from agile working methods are beneficial. In addition to Swedish, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
 
We are looking for someone who is very analytical and organised. You will also be a team player, down-to-earth and solution-oriented. You will preferably work in project form and assume the role and the responsibility required to make progress, without detriment to the quality of the end result.
