Job Summary

There is an open position as Inbound Preparation Leader within the PIM RBS Inbound team located in Kumla.

The Inbound Preparation Leader is responsible to lead and manage material and logistic activities within following product phases; Pre-development, New Product Introduction, Maintenance, Phase-Out/Product Substitutions and Transfer.


The responsibility also includes co-ordination of the global Inbound work within our volume sites.


The main scope is:

  • Secure the Inbound Supply Chain for global prototype and enable volume production from PRA
  • Secure supplier product quality assurance activities
  • Secure direct material for prototypes and ramp up
  • Secure and follow up that our volume sites have the right prerequisites to ramp up and start volume production.

To do this you will lead a team with different competences towards agreed goal.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Academic degree or equivalent job experience. (Master of Science (Civ. Ing) or equivalent job experience or Bachelor of/Master of Science in economics (Civ.ek) or equivalent job experience.

  • Project education (PROPS or other similar Project Management methodologies)
  • Good knowledge of the English language, both verbally and in writing
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent Supply Chain knowledge
  • Flexible, take own initiatives, result-and quality-oriented
  • Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate a project team
  • Presentation skills, both verbally and writing
  • Ability to communicate effectively and quickly adapt to new assumptions
  • Experience from working in development projects
  • Familiar with following tools; PRIM, SAP
