Our Program

Our Nordic Management Trainee Program is composed of 2-3 rotations that are flexible to match your needs and ambitions, yet ensure that you will get to know the wide picture of L’Oréal Nordics.

During the 12 months of the program, you will discover our different divisions and business units as well as take on tasks in different functions. Even though you have a degree within a specific field, e.g. Marketing, E-commerce, we will challenge you to take on projects in other functions as well. Do you dare?

For each rotation, you will be given a specific project with performance objectives and direct support from your manager and HR. You will rapidly build a wide and strong Nordic network within the company, for instance through mentorship, and have the chance to be part of the Nordic Management Trainee community.

Thanks to this program, you will get the “big picture” and become an expert on one or many Nordic markets. You will be based in one of the Nordic capitals (Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo or Stockholm) but might have to travel on a few occasions to other Nordic countries for some days or a full rotation.

Let’s be honest. This program is challenging. You need to adapt constantly to different fast growing environments and different ways of working in a short time frame. Indeed our objective is to prepare you for a successful and ambitious career within the Group. That is why you will receive a permanent contract from the start even if the program itself is 12 months long.

The Successful Candidate

To qualify yourself for the Nordic Management Trainee program at L’Oréal,

• You have recently (between August 2016 and now) graduated from a Master’s degree within Business, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Supply Chain or Finance and are ready to kick-start your career
• Your grades reflect your success during your studies
• You are fluent in one of the Nordic languages and English
• You have gained professional experience through internships or student jobs in your home country as well as abroad
• You have a deep interest in business, branding and FMCG
• You are not afraid to take responsibility
• You are ambitious, result driven and entrepreneurial
• You are 100% mobile to move to other locations either during or after your Management Trainee program

Moreover, you do not see the word “career” without the word “international”. L’Oréal is an international organization, thus you are ideally on the outlook for an international career. You are motivated to reach results independently but also enjoy the interaction with others. You are ambitious in terms of reaching targets on your own but also like to motivate others.

Week 11: Online numerical and digital marketing assessment as well as completion of an Instagram Story Task

Week 12 + 13: Skype Interviews with Talent Acquisition Team

April 25th 2018: Assessment Day in Copenhagen

During the recruitment process, we will identify Management Trainees with start date in August 2018 and January 2019.
