The newly started group New Technology Office within Shared IT Services is responsible for developing new services and deliveries based on new technology. We are involved in the entire system development process, from concept development to implementation and production. Scania is undergoing a very exciting change towards automation and digital journey with an increase use of agile methods.

Your work assignments
As a Solution Architect you work with global solutions within Scania's new service for new technology and innovations. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT architecture for this area and working together with other solution architects within Scania's business processes. Some of the main tasks are:

• You are responsible for new innovations and technology and that they fit into Scania´s IT landscape.  
• You cooperate with Enterprise, Domain and Solution Architects to ensure reuse of functionality and compliance with architecture principles and standards.
• You will be operationally responsible in ongoing projects and work in parallel with establishing new solutions, as well as being globally responsible for IT architecture in the field of management.
• A large and natural part of the work will be to collaborate with people both with technology and business expertise as well as externally to various suppliers.

Your profile
As a solution architect you have

• Documented experience working as a Solution Architect
• Insights in digital solutions in the market
• Good communication skills
• Technical competence that extends across different areas of activity
• The ability to propose and make judgments of different solution options
• We believe you have experience in the EA Sparx, UML and Information Modeling tools, as this is important for the lifecycle of sustainable solutions
• A university education within IT or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Swedish
