About the assignment


In the position you will:

  • Analyse results and proactively work together with IKEA colleagues and external service partners on the Nordic market to have right availability of our service products
  • Encourages clear communication and cooperation with service providers and our Retail partners, sharing goals and ambitions that will support the overall.
  • Be supportive in the confirmation of the executing in daily operational tasks
  • Be supportive in defining and maintraining service parameters, like capacities, services and delivery areas.
Please notice that this is a temporary summer assignment until 2018-08-17.

IKEA Service Business Fulfilment is responsible for sourcing, developing and operating the home delivery, assembly and installation services for our customers. As Operation Specialist you are responsible for setting and maintaining capacities, following up and in proactively way taken actions and reporting to achieve the goal of creating only satisfied customers. You will work in a truly international environment with a lot of contacts with colleagues and users from all IKEA locations across the world. We hope you want to contribute with your unique competence for IKEA’s future! In this position you will belong to the Service Business Fulfilment team in Älmhult and together with your colleagues have the four Nordic countries in focus

Vad vi ber om:

  • You see development of services providers as a natural part of your daily work.
  • You are customer, result and goal oriented as well as self-driven, able to take initiative and work proactive to resolve problem.
    • You have the ability to handle and prioritize a variety of tasks simultaneously. For you, teamwork and clear communication is a natural part of daily business. You live the IKEA culture and share our values. We believe that you have an ongoing University education in logistics, economics, business administration or a degree in some of the subjects above. You have good presentation and communication skills both in written and verbal, and you are fluent in English. It is a prerequisite that you have good analytical skills and knowledge in MS Excel.

IKEA Service Business Fulfilment North Europe, which is part of DS, with 60 passionate co-workers, is responsible for plan, purchase, operate and follow up the Service execution of customer core services.
