About the position

IPM’s trading department is expanding. We are looking for a new co-worker who will join the group that implements the transactions that the company’s systematic strategies generate. The group is responsible for designing, developing, executing and monitoring algorithms for these transactions. The trading includes futures, currencies and equities.

The working hours vary and at times the workload is high which demands flexibility and the ability to work well in a high-pressure environment. You will be working in a team whose ambition is to be at the forefront of their field, which implies continuous development and transformation of trading systems and execution strategies. The markets for the asset classes we trade are undergoing both structural and technological transformation. In your role, you will also collaborate with the Portfolio Management, Systems Development, Operations and Middle Office teams to further develop and optimize the daily processes. 

Your background
We are looking for candidates who are civil engineers or economists with experience in trading, preferably within fixed income trading. To succeed in this role, you need to be meticulous, flexible and able to work well under pressure. You enjoy working in a team and you are passionate about the financial markets. You can communicate well in English both orally and written.
