Are you interested in being part of a dynamic project at the heart of Scania? As a developer in DevOps team in OAS (Object And Structure tool) you will have the opportunity to work in a core application to Scania’s modularity principle, delivering solutions to Scania’s product development process, and support the lifecycle of the products at Scania

Job description
As a developer in our DevOps team, you will work closely with the development teams in short sprints. The application we develop is vital for Scania’s product development and hence, we strive to maintain short feedback loops for our development teams. You will be part of the DevOps team, that are keen to learn, be productive, communicate efficiently and have fun!
You will work with automate (automation for deployments and build pipelines) the deploy and improve the build pipeline. This role would require you to have experience in:

• Deployment Life Cycle, Continues Deliveries, Continues Deployments and Agile Way of Working
• Java, Gradle, Maven, Grails
• Linux, Windows
• Docker
• Ansible
• Jenkins

Some of your daily tasks may include,

• Understand the need from the other teams
• Get ideas together to solve the needs
• Flag deviations and trouble reports for the team
• Secure and work for our uptime, both for the developers and for our users in production
• Be a part of our on call duty for the environment
• And…. last but not least have fun!

Competence profile
Are positive to participate in improving our build chain. Your background should be software development. University degree in IT or equivalent. In addition to Swedish, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.

We need you, who enjoy taking on new challenges and working with a focus on quality. You are a person with an analytical, agile mindset, focused on exploring different scenarios in a solution. You are a team player, but at the same time you have the ability to take initiatives and work independently.
