Business Controller i Sodertalje

Commercial Operations has the global responsibility for the strategies, opera¬tions and control of the Scania-owned sales and services companies and business units.

Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies.

At Business Control we work closely with Business units and Commercial Operations Regional Management in all types of business related controlling activities. We have currently some personnel changes within our organization resulting in a need to employ a new enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business Controller.
 
Work assignments
As Business Controller within Commercial Operations (CO) you will work with action oriented and forward looking business follow up in financial and overall business terms.
 
The main tasks in the business control role are:

• Regional performance control, containing monthly analysis and follow up of performance and forecasts. This requires continuous contacts with the local CFO’s and other stakeholders within the business unit
• Support to and an active dialogue with CO’s Regional Directors
• Consolidation of Business and Market plans as well as Volkswagen planning responsibility for the region.
• Investments analysis and support
• Business control. Benchmark and preparations before board meetings and regional meetings
• Support and development of governance issues
• Support and development of the financial model
• Participate and lead regional CFO meetings
• Internal control and risk discussions with business units, including review and approval of the local policy documents

Another important part of the work is to define and to run projects or investigations together with the regions and with the Business units. We should assure sound business practices and an adequate risk control.    

Your profile
We expect you to have a strong financial competence and good communication skills. You should have a good business understanding and experience from one of our business units or from another relevant area. You should be structured, be able to work independently and as a team player with a strong drive to deliver results and achieve improvements.
 
We are looking for a highly self-motivated, service and business minded person with the ambition to continue to grow within the Scania network.
 
A very good level of English is a requirement, and knowledge of other relevant languages is of course an asset. Travelling within a region will be required.
