Your duties
As a Tester, you will work on designing tests for an ECU system with a focus on one or more functional areas, such as gearbox, clutch, electrification, auxiliary brake or platform software. In addition to being part of the test team, you will also be joining a team of function and software developers in order to ensure proximity to function development.
 
You will design, automate and analyse tests for verification of Scania’s proprietary powertrain management system. You will use modern testing techniques in various test environments, such as SIL, HIL (Software- and Hardware-In-the-Loop) and in vehicles to ensure that we have the best product on the market. An exciting part of the job will involve you testing new methods and ideas in order to continuously find better ways to verify the products of the future.
 
You will have significant development opportunities within the group. Depending on your interests, there is scope to become an expert within the technical field of test development or to take responsibility for an expert group and be responsible for planning and deliveries.
 
The job is varied and requires good interpersonal skills throughout the development chain. The contact networks you build will give you good opportunities for development throughout the company.
 
Your profile
In order to thrive with us, you will be meticulous and motivated by technical challenges. You have an ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new advanced problems combined with a desire to find creative solutions together with your colleagues. Naturally, you can program and enjoy being part of a team working on continuous improvements.
 
You are a curious, motivated graduate engineer, while experience of and an interest in software development, embedded systems, testing and powertrain development or vehicles would be an advantage. You have a driving licence for cars and have no problems expressing yourself fluently both verbally and in writing in English. Knowledge of Swedish would be an advantage.
