These are exciting times within retail and Store Development is looking for an experienced, strategic and driven Group Manager for Store Design with proven experience within leadership and design- and concept development from H&M/other brands that will lead, coach and inspire leaders within Store Design as well as setting the strategic vision and direction of the business area and shape the future of our stores.
H&M Store Development at H&M Head Office in Stockholm is responsible for creating the global H&M Store Concept that will provide our customers with a shopping experience that makes us the most loved fashion brand in the world! The Department is divided into two business areas – Store Design and Store Production, supported by a Project Mgmt Team and Controlling. As a Group Manager for Store Design, you will be part of the Mgmt team and lead one of the two business areas- Architecture & Design and Layout.
You will have 3 direct reports (Team Responsible Store Layout, Team Responsible Architecture & Design and Concept Creative Responsible) and report to Head of Department.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Define and set overall department strategy and goals together with the Mgmt team
- Overall responsibility for business area including setting goals, priorities and ensure result
- Leading leaders and developing talent
To be successful in this role, we believe that you:
- Have a minimum of 5+ years of work experience within concept development and proven leadership experience.
