What you’ll do
The position as Senior RV Risk Manager is pan-European and you’ll cover all major markets. The role will entail responsibilities such as ensuring that our KYC- and on boarding processes are efficient, RV setting and portfolio risk assessment as well as create and implement statistical models on ongoing basis to project residual values as well as portfolio risk and opportunities. Main responsibilities in this positon will also consist of:

  • Driving work to design residual value management processes in order to maximize residual values and mitigating actions to reduce the risk
  • Creating instructions for and support local organisation in used cars management and operational set up to maximize RV
  • Providing recommendations for pull ahead programs for existing portfolio
  • Setting up and maintain portfolio residual value monitoring and reporting processes
  • Develop monthly residual value reports and present to stakeholders and management
  • Develop detailed analysis on macroeconomic trends and data/incorporating factors into RV projections
  • Develop detailed analysis on portfolio performance, reflecting latest developed RVs

You work closely with 3rd party RV setters in order to validate and ensure correct residual value assumptions. You’ll also cooperate with Care by Volvos production teams to develop products in order to optimize realized RVs.You will also support finance in ensuring correct value of assets on the balance sheet. The job is located in Stockholm or HQ in Gothenburg.

 

Do you fit the profile?

  • 4-6 year experience from residual values in automotive or financial services industry
  • University degree, preferably in finance and/or credit risk analysis or management
  • Knowledge in advanced level of data analysis to interpret and analyze complex trends with the ability to present finding in a clear and concise manner
  • Track record in process development as well as maintaining processes
  • Experience from multiple European markets is a strong plus
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Fluent in English, speaking and writing
