As a CAE Engineer within the group “Engine Strength Analysis” you will play an important role in this shift. In collaboration with design and test engineers, your work will have a big influence on the design of our engine components and their ability to meet the customer demands.

What you will be expected to do

  • From the early stages of the design process, support designers to optimise components with regards to strength, weight and cost.
  • In cooperation with test engineers, plan tests in order to verify engine components and simulation models.
  • Continually develop CAE methods to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Analyse results and communicate your conclusions to the rest of the organisation in an informational way, often in the form of reports and presentations.

Your profile
You have a Masters degree in engineering, or equivalent. Preferably specialising in solid mechanics. Your personal qualities are of great importance and we value your social skills as high as your technical competence.
 
As a person we expect you to be analytical, easy to cooperate with and genuinely interested in understanding and solving problems. You should also have the ability to structure your own work as well as coordinate tasks with our internal costumers and other analysis groups.
 
A few years of previous experience of strength analysis, fatigue and/or dynamics is highly meritorious, as is previous experience with HyperWorks, Abaqus, DesignLife and basic programming skills.
You master English, spoken as well as written. A basic understanding of the Swedish language is valued since most of the internal communication is carried out in Swedish.
