We are looking for a tester for a group that specialises in black box ECU, i.e. the supplier develops an embedded system with a combination of hardware and software that Scania then tests. The suppliers are Swedish and international, and close cooperation is a factor in our continued success. The group is responsible for both specifying and testing the systems, so the team consists of both areas of expertise working closely together. The work involves a lot of internal and external communication in order to take the product where Scania wants it to be.

Your duties
In this role, you will work on designing tests based on requirements and specifications for an ECU system with a focus in one or more functional areas. In addition to working with the test team, you will also work together with function and system developers in order to develop the optimal solution.

You will plan, carry out, analyse and document tests for verification and validation of systems linked to the cab and the driver. We are attempting to automate as many test cases as possible in order to streamline regression tests and support an agile approach to work. You will use modern testing techniques in various test environments, such as SIL and HIL in test rigs, and function and integration tests in vehicles. All this is to ensure that we have the best product on the market. Quality will be the cornerstone of everything you do!
