The offer
You are passionate about the financial markets in general and the equity markets in particular, and find it thrilling to build investment cases in single stocks. You are able to argue your cases convincingly while being a team player.
Furthermore, you are confident in communicating in both writing and orally, and you like pitching your views and ideas towards customers and internal stakeholders, finding satisfaction in seeing customers act on your recommendations.
We are looking for an analyst to join our Allocation & Advisory team in Nordea Research. Through a combination of bottom-up and top-down analysis, the research focus will be on managing equity model portfolios. This includes building investment cases, adding stocks to the model portfolios and removing stocks when they are no longer deemed attractive for the portfolios.
The creation of the investment cases is done in collaboration with the team colleagues who are sitting on the same investment committee.
In addition you will work closely with our top-down market strategists, ensuring a uniform view from a market and product perspective.
Communication of the investment cases, and communication around the general market developments including all their drivers – whether macro or company specific – are essential parts of the job position, with the format both being in writing in our morning and weekly reports and verbal interaction.
Your research is presented in writing in short research notes, PowerPoint presentations and/or verbally at customer meetings, conference calls or seminars.
The team is x-Nordic, and you will be seated together with the other parts of research on the trading floor, allowing optimal sparring and coordination.You will be interacting closely with Sales and other stakeholders across Nordea, being part of the complete value chain.

You have relevant experience and potentially a track record as an equity analyst or sales, asset allocator or portfolio manager. We also expect the preferred candidate to have a Master degree or similar in finance or economics.
