Software Quality Engineer i Stockholm

This role is within our Consumer Commercial Digital Products (CCDP) team, which is using digital technologies to reinvent the experience of becoming a Volvo customer. Job Description

Volvo Cars are looking for a talented Software Quality Engineer to greatly enhance the quality of our services on mobile and web. You will be working alongside developers and product owners to delivering products for a leader within the automotive industry.

This position is located in Volvo’s new Stockholm Software Technology Centre in central Stockholm.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with developers and product owner(s) to define test coverage
• Working alongside developers to review test coverage and best practices
• Building/improving automation framework for mobile applications and web
• Writing test cases/scripts for new and existing features
• Analysis and testing of products to ensure that functional and non-functional requirements are met
• Identifying bugs and/or improvements within the products
• Building functional test suites on both web and mobile applications
• Executing test plans/scripts including Regression and Performance Testing
• Leading the push on performance, quality and responsiveness of our products
• Monitoring quality signals and improving telemetry 

   

  Skills

   

• Experience with creating and working on test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, Appium)
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools (XCode Instruments, DDMS)
• Ability to create, adapt and improve test practices within the team
• Knowledge and usage of analytical tools
• Knowledge of Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing and Acceptance Testing
• Understanding of Apple’s and/or Android's design principles and interface guidelines
• Experience in app telemetry and data collection
• A passion for making delightful user experiences
